Botanical Gardens Festival of Lights a Treat
—Posted Sunday, December 8th, 2013 at 7:33 pm—
The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens is a special place whenever you visit with its heritage roses, begonia house, huge collection of rhododendrons and great bird watching. One of the best events held at the Gardens each year is the Festival of Lights, with holiday light displays creating a magical night-time tour. Trees and gardens are festooned with creative lighting.
Rhody’s Cafe sells soup and hot chocolate and casual dinner choices to warm you as you wonder the wide garden paths, which are wheelchair accessible.
Did we mention there is also live music? The event continues through Dec. 22. Check here for details.
